Professor Michelle Alexander, on national tour with her new book, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, spoke to about 200 in a 3-Strikes reform benefit on April 14th. Other speakers included Senator Adam Kline, King County Councilmember Larry Gossett, and former 3-Strikers Stevan Dozier and Vance Bartley. Nearly 100 new supporters for 3-Strikes reform signed up at the event.
